The jeep isn't running hot at all. The temp needle never gets past half or even up to half way. When I start the jeep the fan is not on.The trans stays cooler keeps the trans around 120-160°F normally, and around 180°F with A/C going. It still heat soaks from the A/C, but it takes much longer to do so. yeah, the middle is a bit high for the 3.6L especially if you are driving. But like you, normal temps for my 3.6 is just slightly above the 1/4 line. The only time when I see the temp gauge move is up to slightly below the 1/2 mark, and that us when im driving in a parking lot for like 20 minutes at low speed.
