Focusing umbrals into armor at the seasonal vendors is a good place to start. Raids, dungeons, etc. all can drop high stat as well, but the focusing is the most accessible way. You can also sometimes get really good, high stat pieces from the season pass, so make sure you look at it before using it to infuse.
